Personal storage follows the space owner's plan. For chats, the comparison shows neither participant having Plus versus either participant having Plus. Eligible benefits apply to that conversation.
Code-based access and notification controls stay free
The keypad home screen and separate codes are part of the free experience. You can choose to show a contact's name in message notifications, hide it or mute that contact without Plus. Notifications can show the sender's name by default.
More room for the things you keep to yourself
On iPhone, a Private Space holds your own photos and videos behind its own six-digit code. No second person is needed.
Start with Free to create a space and save supported photos or videos. Choose Plus when you want more separate spaces, more saved items across them, or larger supported files.
Your Plus subscription increases your own Private Spaces allowances. A chat partner's Plus does not upgrade your personal storage. Space items do not use the chat expiry timer.
Keep your codes safe
There is no in-app forgotten-code recovery. Importing from Photos leaves the original in Photos. Hush uses backend services to store content and provides code-based app access; it is not end-to-end encrypted.
More flexibility in a conversation
Start with free messaging. Plus adds higher photo and video sharing allowances, longer expiry options and custom contact names in eligible chats.
Either person's Plus can extend eligible benefits to that conversation. It does not upgrade the other person's account, their other conversations or their Private Spaces.
Keeping an existing custom contact name or clearing it remains free. Message expiry controls when content expires in the conversation; server cleanup happens later.

Choose an available monthly or annual Plus plan in the app. Review the billing period, local price and any offer in your store checkout before confirming.
Trial eligibility
A trial may be available for eligible subscribers. Confirm whether an offer applies to you, how long it lasts and the price after it ends in the store checkout. An eligible trial renews into a paid subscription unless cancelled under the store's terms.
Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew unless cancelled. Manage or cancel through the store used to purchase. Deleting the app or your Hush account does not cancel your subscription.
- Manage or cancel an Apple subscription. For an Apple trial you do not want to renew, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Manage or cancel a Google Play subscription. Access generally continues through the period you have already paid for.
