Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and MYRIADLOOP PTE. LTD. for your use of the Hush Messenger app and this website. Please read them before you use Hush.

1. Accepting these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Hush Messenger ("Hush", "the app"), or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use Hush. Your use of Hush is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we handle and why.

These Terms are between you and MYRIADLOOP PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore ("we", "us", "our"). They are not an agreement with Apple or Google, although your download and any purchases are also subject to the rules of the app store you used.

2. Who may use Hush

You may use Hush only if you can form a binding contract with us under the laws that apply to you, and only where the law allows it. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use Hush only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you where you live and where you use the app.

3. Your account and your codes

Creating a Hush account requires a username. The current default signup needs no phone number or email, but still creates an authentication account. You are responsible for information you provide and activity through your account. Do not assume an account without recovery credentials can be restored after session loss, reinstalling or changing devices.

Keep your codes safe. Each chat or private space opens with its own six-digit code. There is no in-app forgotten-code recovery or master unlock. Codes are stored in readable form by the backend; the lack of a recovery feature is not a promise that the operator cannot read them. Reconnecting a chat starts fresh without recovering earlier history. Forgetting a space code does not erase stored content.

Do not share your codes with anyone you do not intend to give access to. Anyone who knows a code and has your unlocked device can open the conversation behind it.

4. Acceptable use

Hush exists so that ordinary people can keep ordinary conversations private. You agree not to use Hush to:

• break any law, or help anyone else break the law;
• harass, threaten, stalk, defraud, or exploit another person;
• contact someone who has asked you not to, or evade a block or a legal order;
• send content that sexually exploits a minor, promotes violence, or incites others to harm;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are;
• send bulk unsolicited messages, run scams, or distribute malicious software;
• infringe someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• monitor or surveil another person without their knowledge and consent;
• probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with our systems, or attempt to gain access to accounts or data that are not yours.

We may suspend or terminate access to Hush if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing to provide the service would create a serious risk to other people.

5. Subscriptions, free trials, and payment

Hush is free to download, with optional in-app purchases. Plus increases eligible allowances and adds features. Choose from the available monthly or annual plans in the app. See current prices in the app and store checkout; prices and availability can vary by country and over time. A trial may be available for eligible subscribers; confirm the actual offer and billing terms before purchasing.

• Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• Recurring subscriptions renew unless cancelled under the terms of the store offer you purchased.
• An eligible trial can convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel. Follow the deadline shown by the store; Apple advises cancelling an unwanted trial at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Trial eligibility, access after cancellation and refunds follow the purchased offer and the store's terms. Do not assume every subscriber receives a trial.
• You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple or Google account settings — not inside Hush, and not by contacting us.

Manage cancellation and request refunds through the purchasing store: Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Deleting Hush or your account does not cancel a subscription.

6. What Hush protects, and what it does not

Hush opens chats by code from a keypad home screen, with no contact or conversation list on that screen. Requests, blocked users, security alerts, notifications and device or store records can reveal identities or activity. Message notifications can show the sender's name by default; free controls support hiding it or muting a contact.

Hush is not end-to-end encrypted. Backend services store messages, media and access data. Codes are access controls, not encryption keys or protection against every guessing attempt, server access, device examination or someone with your codes. A no-number signup is pseudonymous, not anonymous or untraceable.

Nothing in these Terms, in the app, or on this website is a promise that a conversation cannot be discovered by any means. If you face a serious threat to your safety, please do not rely on Hush alone.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Hush available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and we may add, modify, or withdraw parts of Hush over time. Where a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, we will give notice through the app or by other reasonable means.

Messages, Private Space items and access records use backend services, with local storage and caches as described in our Privacy Policy. Messages expire in conversations; server cleanup happens later. Private Space items do not use chat expiry. Importing media leaves originals in Photos. You are responsible for your device, saved copies and account access.

8. Ending your use of Hush

You may stop using Hush and use the in-app account-deletion flow or account-deletion instructions to request removal of your account data. Deletion does not guarantee instant removal from every backup or billing record, and does not cancel a subscription. Cancel that through Apple or Google.

We may suspend or end your access in the circumstances described in section 4, or if we discontinue the service.

9. Disclaimers

Hush is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Hush will be error-free, that it will meet your requirements, or that any conversation will remain undiscovered.

You are responsible for the content you send and receive, and for your interactions with other people on Hush.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MYRIADLOOP PTE. LTD. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, messages, goodwill, or profits, arising from or connected to your use of Hush.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts — in which case that right is preserved.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and we will give notice of material changes through the app or by other reasonable means. Continuing to use Hush after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
